Soundness: Byte and Short hex, octal and binary output sign-extends to 32 bits

Fixed · medium · Wrong-result bug

A negative Byte or Short converts to hex, octal or binary through an Int. So 0xFF as a Byte prints ffffffff instead of ff, and binary output has 32 digits.
